Rates and Bookings

This page summarises the hire costs for facilities offered at the Centre. If you want a more detailed idea of what we can offer, visit the facilities page.

Please contact the Centre with any booking enquiries.

Note that we may ask for a deposit for some kinds of event.

Hire times

Standard hire times are 9am - 9.30pm Monday - Friday, 9am - 9.30pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm. Outside of these times commercial/resident rates apply. There is a different rate for all categories on Sundays when we are open 9am - 11pm Sunday, but contact us to discuss any different requirements.

NB:On Sundays, the Bar Room must be booked in association with at least one other room.

These hourly rates apply to non-members, commercial organisations or for private parties (but see below for more on children's parties).

Discount Rates

There are a range of discounts available for Community (classes, training & workshops) or Voluntary (small non profit community groups) groups that become members. Local residents may also qualify for a discount. These hourly rates only apply during the standard hire times.

Residents

St Werburghs, Easton, St Pauls, and St Agnes residents receive a discount on the commercial rate for private parties. Please contact the Centre for more information.

Staffed Bar

There is a flat fee of £20 for a staffed bar for your event.

Childrens Parties

Held between 4 - 7pm Monday to Friday will be charged at Voluntary rate. At other times, either standard or Residents rate will apply as appropriate.

Yearly Membership

Community and Voluntary groups may be eligible for the reduced rates listed above only if they become members. Membership categories based on yearly income are outline below:

• A upto £2,500 = £15
  
• B £2,500 - £5,000 = £20
• C £5,000 - £10,000 = £25
  
• D £10,000 £20,000 = £30
  
• E £20,000 - £40,000 = £35
  
• F over £40,000 = £50
  

Extras

• Stage: £15
• Vocal PA: £10. The PA can be hired for use off the premises for £20 per day with a £50 refundable deposit
• OHP and Screen: £4
• TV and Video: £3
• Flip chart: £2.50
• Photcopying: 10p per side of A4 / 15 per side of A3
  
• Fax: 25p per page

Deposits

• Private Parties: £100
• Childrens Parties: £25
• Funerals: £50
• Christenings: £50

Cleaning/Large Group charge

There is an additional charge of £25 for cleaning should your event involve more than fifty people.
