Facilities

This page describes the facilities available at the Community Centre. If you are looking for prices, please visit our rates page for a summary.

The primary facilities offered by the St Werburghs Centre are rooms to run activities and events. We can host larger events such as christenings, funerals, plays or even parties and have a bar available. We have a range of other facilities including an IT Suite.

The building is all on one level and is completely wheelchair accessible.

If you cannot find what you are looking for below, please do not hesitate to get in touch as we may be able to accommodate you or point you towards someone who can.

Rooms

There are a number of rooms available for hire at varying rates depending upon the day of the week and the status of the group or person making the booking. Tables and chairs can be provided as required.

Food, Drink and Entertaining

We have an entertainments license and can host events like live music, plays and parties. We can provide a stage comprised of eight 4' x 4' squares on 15" stilts and a vocal PA system, both at a small additional cost to room hire.

We have a license to sell alcohol and will provide a member of staff for the bar. We regret that we cannot allow third parties to supply alcohol for events on our premises.

In addition to the kitchen there are sinks and tea and coffee making facilities available in the lobby. We can provide drinks and bicsuits at a small cost with advance warning - contact us to discuss your requirements. If you require food we can recommend good local caterers.
