St Werburghs IT Suite

Due to refurbishment work our computers with free internet access in the lobby and IT suite will not be available until February 2010.

The St Werburghs Centre is part of the national network of UK online centres whose aim is to provide everyone in the UK with access to computers near to where they live, as well as help and advice on using them.

We have a suite of computers used to offer classes and courses as well as FREE internet access in the lobby - to use this facility, just drop into the Centre whenever we are open!

The St Werburghs Centre IT Room

We run a range of free drop-in sessions and introductory classes. Currently we are offering the following:

Drop-in sessions with Tutor support

Fridays 2.30 - 4.30pm

Learn how to use a computer, make the most of the internet, create an e-mail address, & job applications.

Classes - Computers for beginners

Fridays 9.30am - 12.00pm

6 week course with an experienced tutor. Internet, email, word processing etc.

You can telephone to book a place in 0117 955 1351 or just turn up.

Fridays also available to students wishing to brush up on their skills. An experienced tutor available to help.

From time to time we also run computer courses on more specific topics - and if we don't have what you're looking for we have close ties with other local organisations and can usually point you in the right direction, so if you are interested inlearning more about computers and the internet, come along to one of our drop-in sessions for an informal chat about what we can offer.
