Krav Maga Bristol
Tuesdays 19:30 - 21:00
Thursdays 19:45 - 21:15
Krav Maga translates as "contact combat", "close combat" or "full contact". It is an eclectic hand-to-hand combat system developed in Israel which involves wrestling, grappling and striking techniques, mostly known for its extremely efficient and brutal counter-attacks, as it is also taught to elite special forces around the world.
Some refinements include, but are not limited to, the incorporation of elements from traditional Asian martial arts. Krav Maga has a philosophy emphasizing threat neutralization, simultaneous defensive and offensive manoeuvres, and aggression. Krav Maga is used by the IDF Special Forces units and several closely related variations have been developed and adopted by law enforcement and intelligence organizations, Mossad, Shin Bet, FBI, SWAT units of the NYPD and United States Special Operations Forces.
Krav-Maga is a lateral system with a unique and logical approach. It is easy to learn and retain for self defence; is performed naturally and intuitively and can be used practically under stressful conditions.
Krav Maga Bristol welcomes men 18+ and women 16+ of all abilities. Prices are £25 per month for training once a week and £39 for twice a week. Please note due to the nature of Krav Maga we cannot accept ‘walk in’ students. Please contact Stuart to organise your participation in Krav Maga Bristol Classes.

Life Healing Workshops
Life Healing Classes with Beccy Holland starting 21st February
Tuesdays 19:15 – 21:00
If your New Year’s Resolution was to be happier this year and have a more fulfilling life then join me on a self-guided journey of change and discovery.
Over six evenings we will be learning and practising the philosophy of the great writer and metaphysical teacher Louise L Hay, author of ‘You Can Heal Your Life’. Over the years she has helped thousands of people worldwide to create more of what they want in their lives, including wellness in body, mind and spirit.
I will share simple yet powerful tools and techniques to help change your thinking and bring more joy into your life. You’ll learn how your beliefs and thoughts about yourself can have an effect on your emotional and physical well-being and how easily those thoughts can be changed!
Over the six weeks you will learn how to:
• Release resentments and old emotions that hold you back.
• Learn techniques for personal healing in all areas of your life.
• Experience a fuller understanding of the power of self-love.
• Learn mirror work, visualisation and the use of affirmations.
• Practise the techniques and welcome more of what you want in your life.
Beccy welcomes men and women into a relaxed, warm and supportive environment where change can be integrated slowly over the 6 weeks. Please note due to the nature of Life Healing Workshops where each workshop builds on the last we cannot accept drop in students.
Investment is £120 waged. £75 unwaged. A deposit of £40 will secure your place on the course and can be followed by two further instalments of £40 payable on the first class and the fourth class.

Marianne Hill Shadow Work:
Saturday 26th November 9:00-4pm
Sunday 27th November 9:00-4pm
'An invitation to discover parts of yourself that have been hidden or denied'
Shadow Work invites you to discover parts of yourself that have been hidden or denied. Everyone holds part of their lives in shadow, usually the parts that carry very strong feelings such as unexpressed fear, grief, anger or even joy. These parts manifest themselves in many ways and can be the source of much pain and confusion. They stop you from being the fully expressed person you could be and sap your energy. By bringing these parts out of shadow in a safe, experiential setting you can release old patterns that you have held tightly in place, unlocking the power of your true self, with all your gifts, strengths and beauty. In so doing you will find new energy flowing through you because you are more relaxed and at home in yourself.
'A process of deep inquiry, experimentation and emotional catharsis’
Shadow Work Coaching is an intense one to one process that can create a profound shift in behaviour, spirit, attitude and emotional well-being. It is a process of deep inquiry, experimentation and emotional catharsis. Shadow Work specialises in using tools that are fast, clean and incisive. Yet you always have a choice as to how far to go. The whole process is structured around your desired outcome and each new step is determined in consultation with the part of you that knows what is right for you in that moment. This allows you to move safely and effectively to the root of the problem and there to transform it.
The first Shadow Work session lasts five hours. Further sessions (as and when required) last about three hours. It is also possible for us to work together on an ongoing basis between the longer sessions. This usually involves weekly or fortnightly sessions of about 90 minutes.
Please visit
www.shadowwork.com for more information about Shadow Work and other workshops and trainings available.

Tuesdays 6:00pm - 7:00pm
ZUMBA has turned the fitness world upside down: we don't have to suffer anymore, in order to lose weight, have a strong heart and feel good! Because it is exercise in disguise!
The beauty of ZUMBA lies within its formula: great music, the fun of dancing and the effectiveness of fitness.
Which is why ZUMBA classes are getting more and more polular, with people getting great results and a better quality of life!
I have chosen my favourite latin and international music and I have put together easy to follow steps, so be prepared to laugh, jump and sweat! ;) If you've never danced before, or have two left feel, it doesn't matter! In my class there is not right or wrong, and there's not right or left. Just keep moving and enjoying the party! :)
